β€œIt’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.” β€” The Legend of Zelda

Step 1

Ok Adventurer, no matter how strong you are every hero needs connection. There are monsters sometimes that you need help fighting, and there are people who care. Who understands your needs?

Step 2

When have you been able to share your feelings so that people understand? Other adventurers need to know when your monsters of anger or overwhelm get to strong. What can you relate feelings to that others might understand?

Step 3

Now it's time to target your greatest weakness and conquer it! What feeling takes you over the most? Find it, feel it. What does it feel like? What are the different ways to describe it?

Step 4

Between the sword training, traveling, and epic adventures you don't always have a lot of time for conversations. We need to share things quickly. Practice 5-15 times finding the feeling and explaining it in three sentences or less, make sure to include what you need at the end.

Step 5

You have the ability to speak up for yourself in a way people understand. How does it feel to have the tools to talk about your feelings? How do you feel about your ability to communicate under pressure?

Step 6

Being an adventurer means practice, so make sure you practice this skill a few more times so it's ready to use in your epic story! This will keep you safer as you battle the monsters! You can set a goal for doing it tomorrow and the next day!
